The Most Expensive Public Universities in the US
The College Affordability and Transparency Center (CATC) of the US Department of Education published several lists about tuition, fees and net prices of colleges and universities throughout the country.
According to the latest list, these are the most expensive 4 year public universities in the United States.
The tuition and fees in these universities are based on the price set for in-state students.Remember, tuition is not the final price that a student will pay for his or her education.
That cost is called "net price" and is the price a student must pay after applying federal student aid, grants, scholarships etc. to the tuition. We've seen discounts as much as 75% off the tuition or "sticker price" of an institution.
